Set Text Attributes

When the Set Text Attributes command is selected in the Parametric Frame Builder Action list box, the settings group for that command displays directly to the right of the Action list box.

The Set Text Attributes command manages settings to set various attributes for text in a frame.

The following settings are available when the Set Text Attributes command is selected.

  • Text Attribute option menu — Select the type of text attribute.
    • Default – Text is added using the Add Text action.
    • Fixed Leaf – Text is added using the Set Textstring action. This text is placed on fixed leafs.
    • ID – Text indicates the ID of a sub-frame. When a frame is divided, each division receives a unique ID number.
  • Font — Select a font type from the font option menu when on.
  • Size — Sets the font size when on.
    • Height – Sets the height of the text.
    • Width – Sets the width of the text.
  • Justification — Sets the justification for a text string. The position of the text string is based on the justification point. When justification is set to Center/Center for example, the text string is centered on point that is located in the exact center of the text string – both vertically and horizontally.
  • View Independent — Text displays in the same orientation, parallel to the view, regardless of view rotation when on.
